The Relationship Training Institute (RTI) is very pleased to announce new,
state-of-the-art group treatment programs for relationship conflict and violence.
The RTI group programs listed below are open to individuals who voluntarily seek help for these issues and for those who are referred by the Court, Probation Department, Child Welfare Services, or other agencies. All RTI group programs are approved by the San Diego County Probation Department.

AN INTRAPSYCHIC CLINIC
Intrapsychic is a full-service outpatient counseling center in San Diego, specializing in offense-specific evaluation and treatment of criminal defendants. The clinic adheres to attachment-related and psychoanalytic concepts, making it the only known such clinic in North America. The goal of treatment is to link criminal behavior to attachment losses in childhood, first, and the to heal or 'soothe' these losses through analytic methods. Intrapsychic is owned by James A. Reavis, Psy.D. Programs offered at Intrapsychic include the following:
Offense-specific Services
- Treatment Program for Compulsive Sexual Behavior – A program designed for court-ordered and self-referred adult males struggling with the controls on their sexual behavior.
- Domestic Violence Treatment – A treatment program for court-ordered adults who have engaged in physical aggression in their intimate relationship (includes female and Spanish-speaking group programs).
*Intrapsychic's domestic violence program is owned and operated by the Relationship Training Institute, Executive Director, David B. Wexler, Ph.D.
- Anger Management/Violent Offender Program – Structured skills program for anger management. Risk appraisal, individual and group therapy, psychological evaluation.
- Parenting/Child Abuse: Families Matter First – A program designed to teach parenting skills, expectations, and understanding of child development issues. Integrating best practices models to teach parents positive, non-abusive solutions.
- Stalking Treatment – An attachment-based program for adult males and females who have engaged in stalking against their former intimate partners.

- General mental health services and counseling programs at reasonable cost for a culturally diverse clientele of individuals, couples and families.
